Guitarist Terry Spooner and violinist Jane Miller formed
TenStringFever in 2005 with a view to performing a wide range of music to
audiences anywhere.
Both experienced musicians, their backgrounds range through
classical, jazz, rock, folk, tango, film music, and they met whilst teaching
their respective instruments in east London. Also they have played together in
various ensembles.
Apart from live performances they have released two albums ‘Jigs & Jazz’ and ‘Chase the Sun’, the latter to critical
acclaim.
Their music has a huge range and in tonight’s recital they will be
playing classical , gypsy jazz ,
Argentinian tangos , and film music by Schubert ,Boccherini, Piazzolla, Morricone plus some of their own original pieces.
