Fiona Harrison


Guitarist Fiona Harrison trained at the Royal College of Music and Yale University, USA. She has performed solo recitals throughout the country, performed Rodrigo’s fiendishly difficult masterpiece, “Concierto d’Aranjuez” with many orchestras and is equally at ease with smaller chamber groups. Performance venues include London’s Purcell Room and Barbican Centre. 
Fiona has been featured on television, BBC radio and worked as a soloist and ensemble musician aboard various cruise lines. She co-hosted many hugely popular residential flute and guitar courses with her former flautist, Julie Wright and has been the featured guest soloist and teacher at various guitar festivals, including the “International Summer School” at West Dean. Fiona is well-known as an inspiring music teacher and worked as part of the professional development team for the ABRSM for many years. She has vast experience in teaching masterclasses and private lessons at all levels.
Fiona’s  latest CD “The Legend of Hagoromo” features exciting, fresh music from Japan, Australia and France and her current recording project is with the stunning electric guitarist Stuart Ansell. Fiona is a former resident of Ealing and currently resides in Surrey.
